The last edition of the Avalon fair attracted 664 companies from 25 countries and 158 official delegates.
Among the delegates from 28 countries were representatives of: industry, army, government and scientific units. The fair was visited by 33 000 entrepreneurs, and the total number of visitors amounted to 210 664 people.
With the support of Australian government agencies and a civil sector entities, fair organizers invited international leaders in the field of acquisition of defense equipment, civil air transport, air traffic control, passenger aviation, commercial aviation and aviation technology with special emphasis on Asia and Pacific region
During the Australian International Airshow Avalon 2017, about 44 conferences, seminars and symposia were held. This provided an additional platform for exchanging ideas, establishing contacts and cooperation between various entities.
Spectacular air shows, which make Avalon known all over the world, will also be continued this year. They are a great background for cooperation of entrepreneurs, and at the same time they will fill the market schedule in such a way that they minimize breaks in conferences, seminars and business meetings.
During the Australian International Airshow Avalon 20109, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency is organizing a Polish national stand (stand No 1D20), which aims to promote the Polish aviation sector on the international arena. We offer Polish companies free forms of promotion, including distribution of information materials or display of promotional films. It is worth to mention that forms of promotion can be used not only by companies that are exhibitors at the fair, but also by entrepreneurs who do not take part in the fair as an exhibitor, but only as a visitor. In addition, every Polish entrepreneur can meet his business partners at the national stand.
This year, the Marshal's Office of the Podkarpackie Region organizes the mission of the aviation sector entrepreneurs to the Australian trade fair. Polish companies will use the space of the national stand.
In addition, at the Polish stand on February 27, at 11:00 a press conference will be organized. During the conference, industry expert Adrian Huta will present information on the potential of the Polish aviation industry. Also on the other days of the fair, everyone interested will be able to learn more about the potential of the Polish aviation industry and obtain information about the offer of our domestic producers of aviation parts, related products and services in this sector.
The Polish national stand at Avalon 2019 will be organized by PAIH as part of the implementation of the automotive and aircraft parts industry promotion program under sub-measure 3.3.2 of the Intelligent Development Operational Program.
